Earlier this week, we met-up with Charlie Hedges from Kiss FM for a fitting where Hanna was putting the final touches on a dress that was made especially for the stunning DJ and radio darling. Charlie was extremely excited and couldn’t wait to put her dress on and when she finally did; she looked absolutely amazing in the HMH Couture gown that she will be wearing to the ‘Women of the future Awards’ this week.

The Women of the Future awards were created to to discover and recognize the stars of tomorrow across diverse industries in the UK. It also celebrates these high achieving young women of today for being inspirational in their professions and showing outstanding potential in transforming Britain for the better. Charlie Hedges has been nominated the for the ‘Media Woman of the future award’ at this years event which will be taking place on Thursday (12th Nov). HMH Couture is extremely honoured to have been given this wonderful opportunity to dress Charlie for this fabulous occasion and we will definitely be rooting for her and hope that the judges too will notice just how amazing she it and see the great talent that lies in her.
The venue has been confirmed as London’s Marriott Hotel on Grosvenor Square where Her Royal Highness Princess Badiya of Jordan will be Chairing the panel of judges. Among those who will determine who will win the ‘Media woman of the Future award’ will be Editor of Marie Claire magazine – Trish Halpin, Lucy George – Head of international brand and PR for Elizabeth Hurley and Vanessa Wright who is the Communications director at Chivas. Can’t wait to find out what the outcome will be for Thursday, but we have no doubt that Charlie will wow them all with her gorgeous dress.
Most of all, we here at HMH are extremely delighted to not only be dressing one of this year’s nominees but to have also contributed a dress that will be going into a raffle to help raise money for the girls of Starehe, a school in Nairobi. The money raised will be going towards funding children of this Kenyan community to give them a chance to able to go to school and get an education. Children are our future and we really hope that people will take part in this and see that fashion is something they can use to reach-out to to those who are less-fortunate and also put that positive message out there that they also can use this opportunity to not only ‘look good’ but ‘feel good’ about giving something back to the world.
